Hawthorn<\/strong> serves as a connection and tribute to my dearest “Little Mumma”. It was the name of my childhood home, where she cared for and nourished us. She made osteopathic treatment a core part of our upbringing, and so it became an integral part of my own healthcare journey navigating chronic pain, and sparking a curiosity and passion for better Healthcare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health <\/strong>is a fundamental part of our human existence but being and feeling healthy <\/strong>is unique to each of us; we are all on our own individual paths. As a health<\/strong> professional I offer person centred care and a biopsychosocial approach. This means taking a wider view beyond just tissue damage, addressing the many varied factors in our lives that contribute to our pain and capacity to cope when our health<\/strong> is challenged. At Hawthorn Health Alliance<\/strong> we aim to support you in finding your health<\/strong>, whatever that looks like for you. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alliance<\/strong> is about cooperation and working together for a common purpose. Osteopathy is an Allied Health Profession<\/strong> (AHP). Our role as an AHP is to develop a partnership where we act as both support and advocate for patients and their health, forming a therapeutic alliance<\/strong>. This may mean working together to develop a management plan through shared decision making, or helping patients to access other services through advice, resource sharing, education, and referral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
